This study aimed to determine the effect of a jump rope game program as an intervention on dynamic balance and gross motor skills in 30 deaf children of primary school age. All participants underwent a jump rope exercise program for 6 weeks (3 times/week). The results of paired sample t-test analysis showed a significant increase in dynamic balance and gross motor skills post-intervention (p < 0.001). Overall, the jump rope game had a positive effect in developing postural control and gross motor coordination, with the implication that this simple method can be an important component in physical education curriculum or rehabilitation programs for deaf children. Conclusion: The study shows that regular jump rope play can improve dynamic balance and gross motor skills in deaf children.
